Tragic Shooting Incident Unfolds at Iowa High School as Students Return from Winter Break

Tragedy struck Perry High School in Iowa on Thursday morning, resulting in a shooting incident that left one person dead and several others injured, according to law enforcement officials with knowledge of the situation.

Authorities revealed that at least two people were injured at the complex, according to information provided to ABC News.

Dallas County, Iowa officials have confirmed that the situation is now under control, and the scene has been deemed “safe”.

In response to the incident, resident agents from the FBI’s Des Moines office arrived on scene to cooperate with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has an active presence on the site.
